in short eight musicians perform each with their own device 'receiver' that combines sound, light, position/direction and movement. Each player works inside “modules”: a musical situation/composition. These modules can be rearranged and combined in a multitude of ways, so the piece changes from one performance to the next based on the required length and instrumentation available.

The result is an ensemble that adapts to each location and creates new modular habits.

concerts will take place in june and july of 2025 (to be announced), most likely in Zwolle (NL) and Utrecht (NL). All prototyping/testing concerts will be attendable for free. Available for booking at festivals in the summer of 2025!

Progress (from top-NEW to bottom-OLD)

so.. after initially creating the first prototype for the electronic device 'the receiver' i tested out multiple little (4 ohm) speakers driven by the 3W (tiny) amplifier, coming to the conclustion that; the small speaker i had before was not suficient for producing enough sound for the project.

Now, with a new speaker in mind, i have to re-make/imagine the prototype. Let's see how it continues! 29/09/2025
